Many of my favorite ice cream flavors are green: pistachio, basil, green tea, mint chocolate chip. So of course I’m going to want to personify them. Poor mint chocolate chip didn’t fit in my sketchbook. I’ve got her outfit in my head, though.

Friday I had a big biochem/genetics exam and then celebrated its completion by vegging out and drawing this. I finished it up yesterday morning—then proceeded to spend the rest of the day at a picnic, nap, do a tiny bit of work and eat falafel with a friend. I am savoring this weekend…

Rachel says: Well. She is much cooler than I am. I think her name must be Harlow, or something totally awesome like that. I love that her coral Chucks coordinate with her coral lipstick. She’s clearly very into fashion. She’s likely an aspiring designer. I feel like those are definitely art supplies in that bag. I also feel like she has a bit of a popcorn addiction; she probably forgoes dinner in favour of popcorn on a fairly regular basis. She’s got this great sort of nervous energy. She’s one of those people who bounces off the walls, even when they’re sitting still. She might get into fashion photography later in life.

Just wanted to draw attention to this series of COFFEE personifications! They’re 10000x better than mine but it’s funny that a few months ago I was contemplating making a coffee personfication series after I finished my tea personification series—and here a beautiful one is already!
